Being that numerous members here are still hoping to get instruments from him, I’m keeping the account active so the opportunity to communicate is there.

I will say this, I met Marko in person around NAMM (I live in LA). I actually did speak to him for an hour or so, and spoke with him on and off during the week prior to his visit and during his visit.

I truly believe his intentions are good. I’ve bought two basses from him and he has gone the extra mile for me in both cases in a number of ways. One of these basses was delivered in the past month.

I think he does want to make everyone happy and provide a stellar product. This little stunt only hurts his online rep, and hopefully he understands that all he needs to do is get back on track with production and find someone else to handle customer service and he has a true winner on his hands

Ps, I am not Marko, honest! ;)

Does anyone have a phone number for Hammersmith? I was getting ready to sell the P2 I bought off Reverb. He'd posted somewhere that he'd buy back instruments. Except in the exchange I had with him, he wasn't just then. He asked me why I was selling it, and offered to give it a free first-time setup (I was responsible for shipping to and from). So I sent it to him. At first, I got progress reports, I was asked what kind of neck finish I wanted, etc. Then he sent a note a week ago Thursday saying he'd ship it the next day or the following Monday. Since then, radio silence. I've sent e-mails, sent him facebook messages, even posted on a picture of my bass he'd put up on FB. Nothing. So...phone is next, I guess.
