Hao Sole Pressure

Was looking through some posts on the Gearslutz recording forum and came across a thread about bass overdrive. Kurt Ballou (guitarist for Converge and very well known for recording lots of hardcore bands) said that the Hao Sole Pressure is a great bass overdrive pedal with heaps of low end.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried one on bass?

I was shocked and deeply disappointed by the HUGE drop in low end from the Rust Ride. Am I the only one with this experience? Is my unit broken? When did the Sole Pressure come out?

I find that there is no actual loss of low end as long as the volume knob is just above halfway. In a quiet practice level enviroment, it may sound like the low end drops off when the pedal is engaged but jamming at a decent volume, its all there baby! :bassist:

I love the hell out of my Rust Ride. I'm not all that concerned with low end though with my OD's as most of them lose some. I've never heard of the sole pressure...definitely interested based on how much I love my rust ride.
