Good morning and happy Easter, to all the low end brothers and sisters around the world!

How will we all be enjoying our day?

I'm heading over to my uncle's house in a few hours, hanging out with my extended family. His family is from Sicily, and he slow cooks about 70 pounds of sausages and noodles for a week before the celebration. I will be happily fat and gasping for air by this evening :)

I already ate a bunch of candy of Friday, so now I have to spend my Easter making up for it. I just ran 5 1/2 miles and I'll do 5 or 6 more in a couple hours. My daughter's coming over later and we're making some chicken tikka masala.

Nothing says Easter like cardio and Indian food :chicken:

Happy Easter!

I sang and spoke at our Good Friday service last... er... Friday. Was rather relieved not to be playing, the pastor tends to throw music at us just a few days ahead of time and it's a pain to try to learn that fast. Two of the three college kids came home, which was nice. This morning was the candy hunt in the backyard, church, then over to my Mom's house for dinner and hanging out with her and my sister's family.

Earlier I filled these plastic Easter eggs with trinkets, then hid them in our shared yard for the 5yo girl next door who had a ball finding em >

Then I went to a dark rehearsal space cuz we usually get together on Sunday's near noon, before realizing that 2 mates would be out of town for the holiday o_O They mentioned it last Sunday, but since it wasn't written in the group text I spaced out on that detail
