A great way to start the New Year. New Steinberger Spirit with Labella Stainless Steel Flats and a new Fender Rumble V3 200 115 combo. I tried this amp at my local GC along side the new Peavey Max 250. The Fender was far superior to the Peavey in sound and quality. I set the Peavey at 3/4 gain and 3/4 volume and it sounded pretty good. I then set the fender to the same settings and it blew the Peavey out of the store. Even at 1/2 gain and 1/2 volume, the Fender sounded better. My choice was easy. Down the road I will look for an extension speaker. I don't like the 115 that Fender makes right now but the 210 looks good. Will it work with the Rumble 200? I have read that some of you with Rumble 500s have used a 115 extension with good results. Has anyone done the reverse. Matched a 210 with a 115 combo. If so, how good does it sound.
