Hard Cases?

This maybe a stupid question, but will proper fitting cases help keep the neck set on my Ibanez SR300DX? Thank you.

You probably should address why your neck isnt "straight" in the first place. Most bass necks need a little bit of relief to play nice. And when you say keep the neck straight, do you mean your relief has been changing?

No, I just had it set up and read somewhere that these necks were a little weak and a case vs. a gig bag would help that. I have no idea if that person knew what they were talking about as it was just a review on some website.
