Hardcore/Post Hardcore Recommendations?

The harder the band sound - the cleaner my bass sound. Nothing is as powerful as a fat clean signal.

My opinion.

Clean in hardcore is almost never spoken in the same sentence.

Off topic but nice to see some hardcore bassists on here. I hardly see any posts about this genre old or new.

I agree with all of the above on a dirtier tone.

keep in mind hardcore to many people is bands like minor threat, black flag, fang, void and post hardcore to the same people could be more stuff like nation of ulysses and fugazi

I don't think VOD ever used distortion on bass. Just tube OD. Love his tone on Imprint and From bliss.... Even though that album sucked.
