Hardware Choice: Chrome or Black?

Gold hardware, please.

Golden bridge is the way to go with blue and yellow.
Black knobs and chromed tuners
I've always had trouble looking at tuners that are not chromed... It just doesn't feel right

I generally like chrome but in this case, I like black. I think it kind of camouflages the bridge and knobs which is more unusual look than chrome.

New black hardware looks great, but I've never seen older black hardware that had held up well with no corrosion. Chrome will hold up better IMHO.

I voted chrome. It looks cool. Black hardware looks like it's trying too hard to be cool.

Gold looks great on my Fortress and Corvette Warwicks, but only looks good about 150 - 200 gigs/practices. Then it begins to lose it's 'goldness'. When that happened after about 4

years I just ordered a second set of Gold. So now it looks wonderful again. Like several have mentioned above, some basses look best with gold hardware.

Chrome. It's essentially a Fender-style bass with paint.
The only thing I'd ever use black on is light-colored wood, and even there, I'd go with nickel or gold. Black to me sometimes says "I want my musical instrument to look badass" instead of "I want my musical instrument to look like a well-crafted, professional instrument"

Now, I will say that the black bridge/chrome saddles and tuners look would fit that body. But you MUST have chrome saddles, or the chrome tuners will look weird.

But for real, you got the Fender logo still on the neck, just go with chrome until you can decie on what you really want.

I have a neck and body on the way (pictured) and need to order some hardware quick. Right now I am torn between all black and all chrome! Please help me decide

I'd say black...but a flat black instead of a "shiny" black.

...but you've got a fine looking ax there, OP. any of the usual choices (hardware) would look good!

Actually I couldn't get a flat on pic of the real neck (it isn't here yet) so I just doctored up the pic I had handy. The real neck is dots and no binding...

All black with Bartolini P-bass pickups so there are no pole pieces...
