Harmony Central is Dead

It used to be my first "go to" site for gear knowledge. The reviews were awesome.. but their "upgrade" was a disaster! Tb had the hiccups for a few days. Hc had full on lung cancer.. everything was jacked and un-navigatible. I checked in a few times over the years and still the same, but with less traffic.. sad.

What keeps you here then? I see those reviews regularly, they just aren't posted in the review section.

On that note, does the review section even still exist? I don't even know if it was lost in the upgrade, I haven't looked under the reviews in years.

That's because they goofed up and changed everything. All you're left with is the dregs.

They have to know this as they record web traffic, use the googles to unearth our most private thoughts, then sell them, while they're using apple, along with those very same googles to record what we were thinking about this place and how often we're thinking it. Too bad they can't figure out how to use all that to flash me ads aboot something I'm actually interested in. Prolly gov't subsidized...you don't need bootstraps when you're the man who controls the man, who controls the man, who controls the man, who controls the man, who controls the man, who controls the man who controls the man who controls the man who controls the man who controls the man who has his foot in the boot.

Kmart and Sears are still kicking pretty hard in my area. I love me some Kmart; shirt will be originally 19.99 on sale for 12.99, you get to the register and ring up and its 9.99. happens all the time.

Exactly, I see this in my business every year, up/down. I take advantage of it each year, buying low when some of my competitors are getting weak-knees over the slowdown.

Same here......use to be my "go to site" before I bought something and it use to be a great source.

But I lost some respect for them before the upgrade. I bought an overdrive pedal for my guitar and wrote my review on it. While I didn't slam the pedal in anyway I did give mentioned to a certain characterstic that I didn't care for, but also mentioned that someone else might really like this certain aspect. My review was posted on HC for about a week and then it was gone! I read thru the other reviews and noticed they were the ones that had nothing but praise for this particular pedal. So it was obvious to me that somehow the manufacturer got HC to delete my review based on one little criticism that I made.

I had that happen too! I thought it was a posting error... hmmm
How come folks don't load up the review section here? I did when I started, but quickly noticed no-one else did..is it because of all the threads?
