Harp Harmonics?

How many of you use artificial/harp harmonics on bass?

I am experimenting with a new technique of combining this harmonics technique with regular notes, making arpeggios. It's fun!

Thanks for listening. Yes it is fairly tricky. Especially if you combine it with regular notes. But you can get that harp like arpeggios that way. Eric johnson is using a similar technique on guitar to great effect. It works the best on bass with a high C string though but it's possible on a four string too.

Pinch harmonics.

The term pinch harmonic is usually used for the squeal harmonic on electric guitar. You play that by hitting the string with both the pick and thumb at the same time. It’s different than the artificial harmonic that is showed in that video. And also he is not combining it with regular notes to get the arpeggiated effect.
