I have one on the way. I think for the tone, price and features this pedal will be a winner. The OD seems to sound pretty good too and plenty tweakable. I like the phantom power and AA option as well. Any satisfied BA2 users out there?

I just saw that they aren't offered at Sweetwater anymore. Hmm. Wonder if they stopped production? I got mine used from TB. Hasn't arrived yet.
I'm planning on picking one up based on everything I heard, sounds great. I have a Tech 21 Sansamp BDDI that I'm pleased with, but I just want to try this one out. Maybe have em both on the board!

Not sure what's going on with the BA2 production-wise. I'd love it if Peavey released the overdrive circuit as a standalone effect pedal, I'd be the first one in line. Best fuzz-type OD I've yet to encounter - especially in the smooth sweep from zero to full on OD.
I just got mine the other day and really like it. It'll take some time to dial in my preferred settings.
Btw, I emailed Hartke and they said they're stilling producing it. I'm not sure which retailers have it, but I got mine through Zzounds.

Old thread but, can this pedal push a power amp?
Thinking about getting one in case my preamp craps out at a gig.
I'm not in a band and don't gig, I play on my own at home, so I'm not sure I can give a good answer. I had my BA2 going into a Little Mark 250 and a Rumble 115 cab. It sounded good, smooth & clean if a bit reserved. I suppose it would depend on your setup and settings. It may work for you. I'm looking to actually sell mine because I picked up an Ampeg SCR-DI, which I like more.

Late reply, but I just picked one up used and I'm actually running it thru the effects return on a Peavey 5150 and it sounds great with my 5 string. It's got a ton of flexibility in tone shaping, but they're all fantastic for my use.
