Hartke Hydrive 210

hello there in the past i had many cabs ... single 15 2 2x12 and single 12 ... finally after many different tries and combinations i decided the 10" speakers are what i was looking for in both sound & portability
i sold all my gear and got a single 210 bass cab ... the hartke hydrive 210 the old version is brand new and i got it for a good price with manufactures warranty and all !!! question is would i be able to gig medium, size gigs with this or should i be on the look out for another one ??? i play in church and most churches i play have pa support and in ears system ... i have a bh250 from tc and both passive jazz basses from fender n squier ... any experiences with this specific cab are wecome ... thanks

also what other cab sound good with the hydrive ... i got some $$ but not enough for another hydrive cab i think

If you're going to add a second cab, I'd say get another Hydrive 210. You might want to stay with one and play your gigs.....you'll know pretty quickly if one is not enough.

true ... i was trying to get people that play the hydrive 210's and get some input from their experiences !!!
most of places i play (churches) have pa support and in ears !!! i have been gigging with either 2 1x12 bass cabs (rumble version 2)
or 15+12 (ashdown mag 1x15) or just the 15" ... head is a tc bh250 ... reason i went with the 210's is cause I feel (My own opinion) a more tight sound more compress i guess ... i like that and fealt i had to play both of the 12" or any sort of combination but almost never a stand alone cab ...

I get a lot of use out of mine, but I'm powering it with a Genz Benz Streamliner 900; 500 watts @ 8 ohms. Your TC head may not be enough for what you need. DEFINITELY go vertical alignment, I moved the rubber feet 'cause I never use it horizontally.

Hmm.. This 210 cab may the one I'm looking. I'm going to purchase a Mesa D800 + and was going to go with the Subway cabs. I've always pretty much used 12"s, (2 x 112 or 2/12 cabs) and the occasional 15.. This cabinet sounds very interesting. Anybody run a D800 thru these? Thanks for the interesting forum

I do like the idea of two of the Hydrive 210s though. Hmm.

There is a reviewer of the Hartke KB15 at Sweetwater who replaced the the Hartke amp in the combo with a D800, so at least in principle its an option.
