Not sure if it was Hartke but about 5or 6 years ago I seen a small enclosure sitting on top of a full stack it was about 4 or 5 speakers maybe 3 inches in diameter in and enclosure. I asked the guy who had it and he said it added some highs to his sound. I have looked everywhere online and cant find this little contraption. Not for sure if it was Hartke but does anyone know about this and maybe a model number?

Damn that was quick ...Thank guys

It's a Trace Elliot 4052h "Bright Box." I've got one. My main rig is a Trace Elliot AH500X dual mono head driving the low end of my sound a Trace 1548 2x15 and a Trace 1048 4x10.

I use my Trace 4052h for the high end, and drive it separately with a Trace AH200 head so I can adjust the tone and volume of my high end independently of the low end.

Works great.

Trace made a similar cab with a single horn in it that is like a bright Box, except the Bright Box has 4 5" speakers and no horn.

It was a Hartke 405XL you saw. It was discontinued long ago.

Sorry to wake this zombie thread, but there's one for sale here

Only a little over a year old - I don't think it has reached zombie status yet.

A local indie shop had two if these for sale - he sold them, but wanted too much for them IMO. Had I needed them they may have worked well with a GK 800rb (I like running the 100w section full-range into a separate cab). I have different plans now.

On the subject of Hartke cabs, there is a 215 for sale local to me, and I see 4.5 XL's pop up occasionally. I play through 4.0 XL's at my church. I like them, but don't like the fact that re-cone kits are not available for them. That essentially negates the desire for personal ownership, but they are good cabs IMO.
