Hartke LH1000

The LH1000 is a killer amp. I've had mine for a few months now and played tons of shows and practices with it. Paired with my SWR Megoliath 810, it cuts through everything. Definitely worth the $450 I paid. I got it for a steal! I run mine in bridged mono and it sounds great. Loud, bright yet warm, and punchy. It can get you almost any tone if you take the time to sit down with it. It's definitely a clean amp though. I'd recommend it to anyone considering getting a new amp.

I've been gigging a LH1000 for some time now, LOVE it!!!!
IMHO, the LH1000 is the best thing Hartke has done thus far.

Pros.......Big, bold, LOUD, clean with huge head room at a great price.

Cons......In this era of micro heads this isn't one of them, (which is a plus to me!)

In the past two or so years I've owned a G.K. MB2-500 micro head, sounded great but started having problems with it at the 1 year mark, then I owned "two" Ampeg PF-500 micro heads, both burnt out.
The Hartke LH1000 has been absolutely stellar thus far.......

im looking to get one for my avatar 4 by ten, does it have some punch? i was using a backline 600, but was overheating it when using my ratt pedal with it
The LH1000 has 3 fans. It stays cool but they start to spin faster when needed. It's an amazing head and will sound great with the Avatar 410 IMO. But....The LH1000 really shines when run in Dual Parallel mode. Two separate amps good down to 2 ohms each with a balance knob. The only complaints about lack of volume always seem to be in bridge mode. I don't know why that is but it has turned me off of using bridge mode. I just always bring both cabs.
Shame about the Backline overheating. Maybe some Better/Modded Fans are in order.

Oh yeah.
I don't know the impedance or power-handling ratings on your cab.
Be aware that the LH1000 can deliver 1145W into 4 Ohms bridged, which IME is a lot for a 410.
I can't speak to the loudness issue really - I run mine bridged into a 1200W 412, but have never gigged with it in a big enough room to need even a major fraction of that available power. It gets plenty loud and yes - it has punch. Maybe that's a factor of its analog power supply and maybe not. However it's achieved - it's got it.

NYCbassist has a non-bridged solution he likes, and I'm not about to say he's wrong. You have options - see what works best for you.

I think the LH1000 is a very musical bass amp, largely because of the passive EQ section. On the subject of EQ, the overheating of your Backline 600 may be caused by your control settings. I often direct owners of that amp to TB member fdeck's very informative white paper on the EQ section of the Backline 600. When you read it, you'll see how much bass boost the preamp has when the controls are set to "noon". That alone could eat up power and cause overheating.
