Hartke

I think they are excellent for the bang for the buck ratio.
I dont care for the aluminum coned speakers and had bad experiences with them.
But i have owned alot of hartke gear and it never let me down.
The only gear I play with now is GK and Hartke basically because
they take care of their customers like no others do.
And well they sound great too!

I have the LH1000 and Hydrive 410 and love it. The only thing I would change on the cabs is the vinyl type covering. It's cool and all, but I put a few "dents" in it before my padded cover came in. They are small and few, and you'd have to be looking to find them, but still it happened too easy for me. I'm a fan of simple EQ, so the 1000 works for me. More than enough power for me too. I've had mine for about 2 months now, so can't really comment on long term reliablity. To sum it up IME, this rig kills tonally, was inexpensive (especially compared to what I sold and was using), and part of my reason for buying it was because of Larry Hartke's active involvement in making sure Hartke's customer service is top notch. My .02

Hi guys, what do you think of hartke amplifiers and cabinets quality?
Thanks Eric.

I just got done jammin' last night with my Hartke 2500 head, my 210XL, and my 2.5XL.
Basically a 4x10 running at 4 Ohms and 250 Watts.
At half volume it was plenty loud enough against two guitarists and a drum machine, and/or two guitarists and a drummer. More than enough for a medium sized stage.
Me likey!

Love Hartke stuff. I've had my LH1000 for a couple years now. Have bounced that thing all over the country in a band trailer or under a tour bus, and it fires up everytime. It sounds awesome, has more power than I've ever needed. I always get compliments on the tone I get out of it. I just recently got my hydrive 410 (will likely be adding a second in the near future). Man, that thing sounds AWESOME. It's several pounds lighter than the Ampeg and Aguilar cabs I used to have too. I love the stuff. It's affordable, sounds awesome, and if you ever have any troubles with it, you get service from Hartke like I've never experienced from anyone else.

I've also got a 210 transporter that I've had for 5 or 6 years. I have no idea how old it is cause I got it second hand. It sounds awesome for small room gigs. It has never let me down either.

How is hartke's customer service?
In a word: Amazing.

Not only are they high quality amps for the money, but I've never seen customer service as good in my life. I'm going to be getting the 410 combo soon and what sold me on them was not only how great they sound, but meeting Larry Hartke... he stands behind his products 110% and knows what he's talking about... you just don't see the level of commitment to a product these days like you do with Hartke.

I'm a fan of Hartke gear, basically a Kickback for small gigs and practice (the amp is old and is on all the time, no problems but I did replace a speaker last year) I have an old 2500 I keep as a spare, have an LH1000 and Hydrive410. When you publish your cell number as Larry has, that is a true commitment to your work and product.

I love my Hartke gear, it is all that I play. I used my HA2500 (250 watts) and VX410 for some Football halftime shows. Even with that little half stack, everybody on the home side was able to hear me. (both of these games had attendance of 10,000 people, no little gig. I recently got the Hydrive 410 and am allready looking for another. I am also planning to get the Kilo, because I know it will be another perfect Hartke product. And Sam Ash is a great place to buy Hartke gear. It priced the same as everywhere else, or lower in some cases, and you can play it and test it out first. Hope this helps!
