Harvesting Time - What are you growing?

Speaking of garlic, my next door neighbor grows tons of garlic. His wife uses the stalks to put in vases around the house since they grow a few feet tall and have an interesting head, and it would seem the stalks don't smell and last over a year as decoration.

Matticus, I have had trouble with Cilantro myself, its like I can get every other herb to flourish but Cilantro! I am jealous as well.

Does anyone have a good dill pickle recipe?

Tomato, zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, cucumber, asparagus, strawberries, lettuces, basil, cilantro, parsley, mint (from the neighbors, I'm pulling it up to try to control it). I think that's everything...but I'm going to do some weeding today and update if missing anything.

Edit: I forgot, there's some type of onion planted by the previous homeowners.

This is the first garden my wife and I have tried to do, and so far it's turning out nicer than I expected, considering what noobs we are. We've got green beans, squash, carrots, shallots, cucumbers, radishes and tomatoes. Don't know when they'll all be ready, so I'm leaving that to my wife. Her parents had a garden when she was a little girl, so I'm hoping she knows when they'll be ready to pick.

We pulled up the last of the cilantro this past weekend. About half flowered, so it was pretty much done anyway. Had a few salads so far this week with the lettuce, and my wife has been enjoying the broccoli. I hope the beans and peas are ready soon, they look good growing on the line we strung out for them. I passed on the carrots and radishes, but they sure looked good.

On the bad news front, the peppers aren't doing anything still. The tomatoes seem to be stuck in some funk too, nothing growing on any of them currently. :(

That's not a garden,....that's a farm.....;)

Haven't been out to check our garden in a few days. We had some great growing weather not to mention a bit of rain the past few days.

My wife actually participate in a Melissa Harvest at the Young Living essential oils farm in St. Maries ID. The Melissa wasn't ready so she helped log some Douglas Fir and distill the oil for blends.

Only a few tomato plants, Sweet 100 Cherry, Beefsteak and Early Girl.
Been picking cherry tomatoes for a couple of weeks, got the first Early Girl on July 4th

There are three farms within a couple of miles, so growing much else is kind of pointless.

Pears, apricots, plums, apples, quince, mulberries, lemons. Raspberries, blueberries, boysenberries, blackberries, red currents. Not much in the way of veggies this year - potatoes, garlic, rhubarb, and arugula. There was a bit of asparagus.

It's cold - no grapes on the grapevines.

My cucumber vines took a turn for the worse..I saw a good bit of stink-bugs on them. I am not happy about this stink-bug thing. There is nothing you can do to keep them away.

My tomatoes are finally starting to come in, I need to take some pictures.
The Peppers and gourds are doing amazing. Hundreds of peppers out there :)

I have cherry and beefsteak tomatoes, Cucumbers, jalapenos, red and green peppers, spinach, onions, garlic, cilantro, tyme, oregano, parsely, basil, strawberries and raspberries.

The cucumbers have done exceptionaly well and I have already pulled about 10 off that were about 15 inches long.
