Has anyone done a micro Amp shootout?

Between the TC Bam with 2x8 cab and the Elf I went with the Elf 110 combo. My amateur ears said it had a nicer tone, more lowend feel, and the combo aspect and smaller footprint was more appealing to me than the head and cab.

Prices are approximate, based on a quick Google search. Obviously, the more watts the higher the cost (except HB).

It's hard to know what to use as a cutoff criteria for this selection, output watts or form factor. Capping it at 250 watts would have left a few small form factor candidates out. If the form factor critera was whether it fits in a gig bag pocket, that might have left out a few others.

I have the Elf and recently picked up the Warwick Gnome. Long story short, the Elf is for sale (though I've had issues with it from day 1 so that's not surprising). Maybe I'll put together a video of those 2.

Any thoughts on the fan noise of the Gnome vs the Elf? I would definitely like to hear more about your experiences with the Gnome. I had an Elf for a couple weeks and returned it, but would absolutely jump on a Gnome if it was better in a few key areas.

Way better. The Elf fan turns on almost immediately when I'm using it. I don't find it too distracting but I do notice it, it's not quiet. I haven't played super long stretches with the Gnome yet but I played with it for about an hour on day 1 and if the fan kicked on it didn't catch my attention.

The Gnome is noticeably bigger than the Elf and heavier IMO. But maybe that's why the fan stays quiet, there's more room inside it.

Awesome! That's exactly what I was hoping.

Thanks for the pic! If you've still got both of them out and wouldn't mind, it would be great to see them side-by-side from multiple angles. :)
