I loved JE as a player and since I was kid was inspired by his playing but dying from a coke induced heart attack at age 58? Not cool... not at all...

Tom Peterson? Seriously? Sorry to be the hater in the room, but I have never once thought anyone in Cheap Trick looked like anything other than a douchebag a-hole of the worst kind. Easily one of the least cool bunch of pretentious dorks ever on stage.

i'm really tempted to get one of my bands to play that terribly at the start of a show, just to piss people off, then break into a solid groove and play a flawless set.

These guys HAVE to be playing that badly on purpose. There's NO way anyone can even remotely think that is in the same universe as "good"!!!

Anyone tried the TP signature 12-string from Waterstone? Looks great - but I hate changing 4 strings - can't imagine 12 . . .
