Has anyone "Not received sent PM's" before here on TB?

I bought something from a fellow here on TB 6 weeks ago. There was something missing from it when it arrived. The seller has 100+ positive feedbacks with no negatives.

His communication with me has been very sporadic. He claims that he has sent me PM's, but I haven't received them. I've also sent him several that he hasn't returned. And I still haven't received the missing part.

I know he's still around, because he posts almost daily.

Has anyone here on TB ever not gotten PM's that were supposedly sent?

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, as he has a superb reputation. It's just frustrating.

I've been around this place a little over 10 years and have never had any missed communication.

No, one PM sent to a seller on the classifieds that went unanswered. I chalked it up to the seller not choosing to respond, and did not send a follow-up PM. It remained in my sent listing for two months, then I deleted it.

For a while, I was experiencing PM issues. Some that I sent never arrived, and some that others sent to me never showed up in my inbox. Haven't experienced either situation recently, though.
