Has anyone tried First Act strings? ($1.99/pack blowout)

got them for back up , expectations were not high , tried SS strings on a very old P Bass that I usually used rotosounds or blue steels on, held up fine for a couple of rehearsals and a sweaty 5 hr gig with plenty of slap left in them , gave a set to my friend with a mim jazz and he's still happy with them after a couple gigs

Been using the heavy SS set on a active Jazz since they came in. Quite pleased with `em; still holding up. No they`re not the best sounding strings out there, but they`re actually decent. Hex core, too, BTW.
