Has anyone used JamMate RockFrog?

I am looking for an easy and cheap way to connect the bass to the computer for recording. What I have found so far is this:

Never tried it but it seems to do the job just fine. Alternately you could just get a 1/4" to 1/8" cable adapter from Radio Shack and plug it into your line-in slot (but it's not ideal). If the RockFrog isn't too expensive I'd certainly go for it.

Did you try the RockFrog usb device? I've just ordered on for my son, but I read in the info on their site that the sound output is through the headphone socket, not the PC speakers!? Does he now need 1/4" socket speakers/Headphones too?

If you didn't get one, I'll post my findings in a few days when it arrives

I just got my rockfrog and was having problems getting it to work with my Amplitube and Guitar rig. And I haven't been able to get output through anything but the rockfrog's headphone socket either so that sucks.

If anyone can figure out how to make it work with amplitube and sonar, please post here.
