Interesting. I've never used that section. But it is a good source of laughs most of the time. Personally, I think prostitution should be legal. But that's a whole different discussion that's a bit too political for this site.
I don't think the erotic section of Craigslist should be closed. Chances are the guy was a jerk who would have started trouble on his own anyway, whether he used the internet to do it or not.
I love that picture!!
So the guy is a creep who killed a masseuse. What does this have to do with Craigslist?
A law enforcement official said Friday that Markoff's fingerprint was found on a wall of the Holiday Inn Express in Warwick, R.I. where a stripper has said she was tied up and held at gunpoint by a man she met through the site.
Nothing says "America" like utilizing a random killing to impose your own unrelated morality onto a third party.
The internet hasnt gone far enough in my opinion.
Triple quoted for truth.
There are people who do naughty things on the internet?
I had no idea.
I'm surprised too!
Just looked. Apparently, there's a LOT of them.
Where's far? I never went to that place.
the internet hasn't gone too far. This stuff happened before, it's now instead of sleezy newspaper ads it's websites.
TURN OFF YUR ENTERNETZ!
You make a good point. Holiday Inn Express has gone too far
This guy could have met these people in a thousand other ways . . . it just happened to be through CL. I just don't see how CL is culpable in any way, shape, or form.
Sue Al Gore. He started this whole "internet" thing.
over 60% of people responding to the poll on that news site said CL should close that portion of the classifieds.
