Hated LM Bass II Experience

Never had the opportunity to even see one before today. Today, there was one with the Traveler 102P (onlya small 2x10") bottom at GC. Both were amazingly small. I plugged in a Laguna LB524 bass and was just shocked at the richest (and really powerful) bass I've ever heard. I mean just RICH. Master control was only at about 2 1/2 yet a store guy told me they could hear it loudly up front (over the piped in store music) and could I turn down a tad.
I was deeply impressed and that was when I hated the experience. I was/am too broke at the moment to immediately buy it. It was so impressive that if I was a rich guy I'd have bought 2 just because.
I will not sleep soundly again until I can actually have one for myself. My gawd---what an amp!

The good news for you is, they got used LMIIs here in the classifieds all the time. Pair that up with a good used cab and you can get a slammin' rig for not too much $$.

I love that this amp has the option for a solid gold chassis. Nice if you've got the extra 50k for bling.

Now go back to GC and plug into the CMD 102P combo. Even better. I just played thru the same setup you did and then the CMD 102P yesterday and the winner was the combo. Must have been the ported cabinet on it. Woweeeeee! Fender American Deluxe V thru CMD 102P - fugetaboutit! I HAVE to have it! Trust me - try out the combo. Then report back. What are you waiting for. GET GOING!!! lol.

It's a great amp. I have zero amp GAS now. The only amp GAS I'll get again is if my LMII gets busted or stolen.
