Have fun...the crowd wants to have it, too!

I have an obsession for wood. The musical kind.

Besides musicianship, our band stresses the fun factor, by actually having fun on stage. :D Most local bands are boring as hell, imo. So, why see them, aside from them happening to be atmosphere where you're drinking? I get that, though, for relaxing jazz or similar stuff. For a country-rock band, though, we try to have the crowd focus on us, by having them laughing, smiling, singing along, and just interacting, because live shows should be fun.

Don't play like it's a job, because it shouldn't be. If you look bored, why would people want to pay attention or come back? Btw, I come in near the end, rocking out with our lead guitarist.

Context does matter-- but that doesn't mean you can't have fun as well-normally.
(like if you are playing at a somber occasion)

In my case I mostly play at home or at church.

I can have fun in both cases--but it can express itself differently in both cases.
