Have you worked with this drummer? I would!

The guy has the best parts of the drummer personality - a little goofy and a whole lot of "happy go lucky". A good reminder to bassists. After stressing about tone woods, flats vs. rounds, tubey grind, and what not, you're still supposed to go and have some fun.

Hilarious! Laughed out loud when he said, "that's gospel drumming at its best".

I've actually gigged with a guy who did have the attitude of practicing solos during the songs if he felt no one was paying attention. He also used to switch randomly to reggae or swing jazz beats during songs and not even in an appropriate time, just 1/3 of the way through the chorus. Not fun in real life.
