Those Ibby's have been on my list of wants for a while. They sound great in the clips I've heard.

Same here. I just wonder if it is as good as the Godin A4 I player recently.

Listen to this and ask yourself "is he really getting close to the sound of an upright?" No he is not. That bass sounds very muffled compared to a good upright bass. Of course, Ray Brown is the gold standard of upright bass tone...at least he is for most of us.





However, there is something wonderful about a great fretless bass tone and Jaco and Gary Willis among others have given us a lot of fantastic music to listen to.

Dario's sounds a lot like an upright, I think.
