Head paring for Hartke VX 410.

Just bought a Hartke VX 410 from a buddy after a few years of drumming more than playing bass.

Looking for recommendations on an affordable head that will sound good on the low end. I play slam deathcore so I need that thumping low end. Aiming under $300 USD new or used

I used a SWR WorkingPro 700 for about 15 years through that cab. It was a great combo. The head died, cab is still very much alive. The workingpro 400 has the same preamp and could be around that price if you can find a used one...

The VX410 was a great cab for the money, I think I bought it new for 400$ in 2004. I used to crank it, and that cab can take it. I overpowered it for 15 years, and it held up strong. Good find.
