Headless Club???

A body shot of my Spirit fiver. I had it gutted and installed Bart pickups and the three band Bart preamp. This little thing is one of the best sounding basses I own, and certainly one of my favorites.

My headless, a Guild Burside Crossbow, Dimarzio P (PAF) and an Artec jazz. It can growl and it can be smooth as butter!

Well I don't know if a number is necessary, but thought this would be a good place to show my new Wilkat custom.

Moses 32" neck
SGD pickups
Butternut/Maple/Wenge back and White Limba front

Not in my hands yet, somewhere ove the Pacific, I can't wait.

My apologies to the Headless Club. I have somehow misplaced the document I made to keep track of all the numbers. I should have been keeping it straight on here in the posts. I know that some of you are missing numbers. I think that I left off at 19. So I would appreciate it if you could post your numbers in order to correct this. I will edit the OP in order to keep these straight in the future. Thanks all.

Here is my latest headless, a Daniel Fernandez fretless 5. This acquisition has left me pretty much broke for now but I can live with that.

I would rather have the bass then the money anyhow. :smug:

That's a really sharp bass right there! Kind of reminds me of a Zon Vinny Vb-4, which is one bass I've coveted for years.

Looking forward to any review you might post. :)

Scott, congratulations on your new Daniel Fernandez. I believe your body shape was his original design before he designed the single cut and is just gorgeous. I believe he designed the single cut for Brian at the Low End and it is possible that Brian may have actually helped (or did) design the bass although I'm not positive about this.

All I can say is if you haven't played one yet and you bought this as a leap of faith, you are about to be rewarded with what I believe to be one of the very best basses built by a master luthier as talented as anyone in the business.

Let me know when you get it and we can compare notes as I have a 6 string fretted as well as the fretless. You won't believe it when you see it. Peace.
