So last year I decided to make a headless graphite neck bass but was unhappy with my body shape
After some thought I chose to make a Modulus style Flea bass, only headless.
I commissioned a headless Modulus style 34” scale neck from Jerry at Graphite Guitar Systems and began gathering the parts.
Lane Poor legacy pickup
NOVA headless bridge system
Nordstrand preamp - 2 band eq
Ash body blank ( gonna chamber it to save weight)

Here’s the pics

@Lesfunk thanks so much for posting this! I've been looking for graphite necks for a couple of headless builds I've been wanting to do for 2+yrs and seeing this has fueled the urgency :) I was trying to get Moses necks but that never worked out.

Please keep us updated as you progress on this one.

I'm in Seattle this week and definitely plan to connect with Jerry before I leave to get my projects underway.

I'm planning to build 2-5s I already have an the body wood, bridges and electronics... 1 fretted and 1 fretless, I'm planning to rebuild my primary traveler that I built as a protoype about 5 yrs ago.
