Headline turns into double-bill turns into sharing backline...

"Most sound guys take you direct. Your amp on stage is just for your personal monitor and to help flavor the club sound. You already know that lazy sound guy won't to work with setting up and mic-ing an amp, so don't expect him to." Exactley why I bring my own mike and stand, I set it right up in front of the cab I want miked, 9 times out of 10 they assume it is a guitar cab and just run a cable.

Those guys are great! I've seen them around a few times. Are you playing in Knoxville? I wouldn't mind coming out and buying a beer for a fellow TBer.

We're opening for them at the Double Door. which is located in Charlotte, NC. I hope to do more gigs with them closer to the Knoxville area though!

I went to UT and was a (very crappy) bassist for a bands here and there. I probably know of you. :hiding:
