Headphones that are loud?

Discussion in 'Recording Gear and Equipment [BG]' started by The Artist, Feb 11, 2005.

  1. Hi

my band have been going through several wireless hedphones, but they either don't go loud enough for the drummer, or when they do they distort allot...

can anyone here recomend some they have used in thair experience?

I'm thinking you're expecting too much from something that runs on a AA battery (or at least the cheaper ones do, don't know much about others) but uh, raise the volume on a pre-amp and that should make it better.

    Or go with wired headphones...

go wired or with in-ear monitors. With wired the you will have to get something that is noise cancelling so he won't have to crank them. in-ear are the way to go if you can afford them a lot less bulky and quiet.

I received a set of Sennheiser wireless headphones and they're quite loud. I'm just not sure if they'd be loud enough for you. :(
