The heat index here is currently 129. Real temp 100. On December 31, the wind chill here was -55. Real temp -30. Iowa hasnt got a climate...just weather.

Well 35 years in kitchens makes all this easier. Still sucks, yeah, but the outside heat and humidity right now is about the conditions I spend most of my working hours in anyway, so whatevvs.

High 90s, humidity same. Heat index yesterday and today 'round 105.

I'm playing in a baseball tournament in Gettysburg. Temps in high 90s. I brought a 2 liter bottle fully frozen with water. By 10:30, it was luke warm.

In the weeks before Barry it was continuously bumping 100 or higher in the daytime but since the low pressure cell that formed Barry over the gulf swept through the area it’s been in the 80’s overcast and rainy just about every day.

Heat index of 107 right now in Chicago. We're inside. But I know right by the lake, where we are, it's always a little milder. Downtown last night after I worked late it felt extremely stuffy, but not excessively hot.

Yeah, that was freaky. About 5pm, all of a sudden the wind started blowing and a wall of clouds moved through, bringing with it a sharp temperature drop and a bunch of rain and lightning storms. Should be a nice day on Sunday highs in the mid 70's

Out where I work, Lincoln Ca. , we've been over triple digits often. Working in a giant concrete warehouse that holds the heat all night long, when I get there at 6 a.m. for the last three weeks or so it's been 78 - 80 degrees at that time of morning. No Buenos.

The wife and I took a trip to escape the heat this weekend. Santa Cruz was 68 degrees. Sacramento was 97.

i've had three outdoor gigs this week (indy and cincy) = brutal. b.r.u.t.a.l. maybe worse.

as bad as this heatwave is: i'd rather struggle in the heat than struggle in frigid temps. at least my fingers and hands work properly. YMMV.

All that inland heat regularly pulls in the damp,chilly Pacifac fog over our little coastal town, so it’s been in the low 60s here.
I don’t envy y’alls heat extremes, (in fact, i moved away from Memphis to escape it), but it never seems to get very “summery” here.

A few of the most summery days I've experienced out there were in February, oddly enough. Most often at Florence or further south though, and usually wrapped around one side or the other of the usual 90+ mph Cape Blanco windfest, which somehow barely even rates being called a storm.

I work in a wood shop here in north Texas in a large metal building with no AC. With all the moisture coming of the wood in the warehouse the humidity is killer. My day starts at 7 and by 7:15 I’m literally soaked in sweat.

Yep, and of course here in the Gorge that's just business as usual too. But Cape Blanco and Cape Disappointment still kind of freak me out when they're going off.
