Find a light precision. Some series/years can be lighter/heavier, but in the end each bass is unique. P-bass generally weight somewhere between 8 lbs and 12 lbs, 9-9.5 seems to be about the average.

I had 3 P bass and one Jazz a little bit under 8 lbs, they definitely exists. Check out in the Classifieds here !
