According to the bathroom scale, my Aria sb700 weighs somewhere in the 12 pound range. The Steve Harris sig at Sam Ash felt about the same. I think that's the top of the scale for me right now.

I'm in the middle of a build right now (Warmoth/USA customs) and I'm intentionally making the bass heavy. So far it's looking like it will end up being around 13 pounds. I'll make a thread about it later and post pictures!
My '78 Jazz is about 5,2 kg that equals 11 lbd. A comfortable lightweight compared to the G&L L2000 I once owned, advertised as being made of lightweight swamp ash.

I had a Kramer that was 12.25 pounds. Not a record in terms of absolute tonnage by any means, but as the weight was largely in the neck, it was probably world class in terms of the torque it applied to my back.
It did have a great neck in terms of consistency - nothing even close to a dead spot on that thing, at least up to the point in the set where the bass player collapses to the floor from exhaustion. At that point, of course, you have to take your hand off the neck to break you fall, so that note - less sustain.

I built a P bass with a Shecter Imbuya (the densest of South American walnuts) body, a thick 1985 Fender maple P neck and a Smith bridge. It weighed in at about 14 pounds. If you put it on a stand and whacked the E string on a Friday, it would still be ringing Sunday night. It wasn't too comfy after the second set and got sold to a really big guy who liked it anyway. Yes. it had an early Fender tortoise pickguard and a tug bar.
I had a 70's P that came in a bit over 13...depending on the scale.

This sounds just like a 5-string Alembic that we'd custom ordered for a customer back in the early 90's with a macassar ebony top. It was beautifully made, but the thing was an absolute log - unplayable in my book.
However, this is the heaviest I have heard of:
I spoke with Robby Pagliari from Ohm a few years ago at the NAMM show in Anaheim. I believe he mentioned his custom made red Yamaha 6-string fretless is somewhere between 27-29 pounds. It has a brass block installed under the bridge.

One of my G&Ls is 12.4, thanks to this thread I can officially tell my guitarist it's not the heaviest bass
