According to the bathroom scale, my Aria sb700 weighs somewhere in the 12 pound range. The Steve Harris sig at Sam Ash felt about the same. I think that's the top of the scale for me right now.

I got home off tour and had a boatload of money many years ago. I had a custom Alembic made. I got a deal but it s was still a lot of money.. They called it a TOBIAN body style ( similar to a TObias at the time. Tulip Wood Top, Mahogany core and i think 9 piece purpleheart/ maple neck..
The bass came in at 17 pounds!!
It didn't even sound as good as my earlier Series 1.. It was horrible..
I wound up practically giving it away to a music store in NYC..
My '78 Jazz is about 5,2 kg that equals 11 lbd. A comfortable lightweight compared to the G&L L2000 I once owned, advertised as being made of lightweight swamp ash.
