Heavy (conventional) alternative to MarkBass LM2 sound.

I joined a band about 6 minths ago and I have been struggling fitting my bass sound into that band.
We have a hard hitting drummer, a hammond player and two 4x12" guitar players.

No I have tried:

Ampeg SVT CL w. 810 cab
Ashdown ABM500 w. 810 cab, Aguilar db212 and Ashdown CL414H cab.

Now, recently I tried a LittleMark Lm2 with that db212 cab, and voilà, everything sounds great and everyone is happy.

What amp with a conventional power section (aka heavy amp) does that MarkBass sound best?
I just want to have another option that can be more easily repaired.

Please, his is NOT a Class-D or switching power supply bashing thread!

Is the DB751 out of the question? Mine is magic with the db212 (and not the same as a DB750).

I had two db750. Both had to be repared. Second one still does not work 100%.

LM2s are so cheap you could buy 3 and throw them away when they fail.

That was with official Aguilar customer service in Europe/Benelux...

I really don't want to discuss the pros and cons of Aguilar heads or customer service.
In this case I tried my db750, which sound did not work for this band.

A almost flat Markbass Little Mark did sound right. So I am looking for that kind of tone in a conventional class AB amp.

Plug your bass in to an ART Tube MP, and run that through a power section of your choosing.

Or just duct tape a brick to a LM, if heavy and tonally bland are your goals.

i'm not sure about european availability, but mesa boogie has some pretty cool heavy tube and heavy hybrid amps

What I remember from reading old threads, when the LM2 stuff first made rounds here people were pumped about how much it seemed like a smaller, lighter Thunderfunk. The comparisons I read said the Thunderfunk is a bit "warmer", where the LM2 has a bit more present bass and top-end sparkle.
I think the Thunderfunk is now available in much higher power than when those reviews/comparisons were written. And getting a new one to Luxembourg would probably run around 2,000 USD.

I'd go with the suggestion already made: if the LM2 fits, keep it.

The Markbass amps are frequent visitors on several second hand/used sites here in Belgium or the Netherlands.

Couldn't you just use the LM2 as a preamp? Just take the effects out into a power amp of your choice and voila!

The LM2 even has a rack option so you could put the whole thing in a 4u case.

.... or maybe I'm missing something...

The Little Mark is a class AB amp.

Not sure about availability where you're at, but to my mind you will get a similar tone/result from these amps:

Genz-Benz GBE series
Carvin B/BX series (class D, I know but still worth checking out)
Kustom Groove series

I reckon the Mesa Boogie Carbines are your best bet. Sweet amps.
