For you underweight guys that want to gain weight I would really suggest journaling your foods like someone already mentioned. When I first started lifting I thought I was really eating alot just like you guys. Then I started journaling my foods and found out that I wasn't. The first week that I journaled my foods I found out that i was averaging about 2000 calories a day. Now I'm eating 3000 (and alot healthier), and that's just enough to hold steady.

I used to be borderline obese until I hit my growing spurt. I've recently gotten into working out, so I'm trying to replace most of the fat with muscle. Thus far I've done very well. In the past, I never did any physical activity. Today I may go as far as to say that I am slightly above average in strength.
