Hell hath no fury like a bass player spurned.

I can't believe he played man in a box on the high e flat ... either detune or play it in E ... you gotta have a low note for that song or else it has no balls. I like to play that song in D on a 5 string so you really get the low note going.

As per the band ... it is a B band with B equipment ... it is filled with B players and a B singer ... there are many bands like that out there. But sometimes you just gotta quit a band because you can't stand being in it any longer.

"One of the more entertaining Craigslist dust ups is occurring on the Jacksonville board concerning the circumstances surrounding the recent departure of a bass player from the gig he was working with a local hero that is famously difficult to work with."

HooooooooooWeeeeeeeeee... thangs must be hideously bad in Jacksonville if this guy has the status of "local hero"... 'course maybe he's a hero 'cause he rescues kittens from burning trees, and not because he's an awesome musician...

I think he is a local hero because that is what he tells everyone. Check his website with terribly photoshopped pictures at a low resolution and a meaningless biography. This guy won't be remembered once he's dead.

You can't really get so worked up about vocals with local gigs like that. I mean, its hard to have that talent, and in many situations they just got to deal with what they have. Better they sing if they're reasonable at it then not sing at all.

Chris, if I had your phone number, I would have had a gig for you last night.

I got a call for a sub at 8:15 for a 9:00 show right as I was going out the door to my gig.

That would have been all you buddy.

PM me you contact #. It'll happen again.
