I'm a new bass player, and thought it was about time to actually sign up here so I can ask total noob questions, and hopefully get better at playing the bass.
I've been playing since July (so a bit over 2 months now) and trying to practice between 30-60 minutes a day. I've got a left-handed Squier Jazz Bass, and my father-in-law was kind enough to donate his old Fender guitar amp, and that's about all the gear I've got. I'm self-taught for now- a beginner book or two, plus Rocksmith 2014, but I'm hoping to take actual lessons at some point. I did take piano and drum lessons when I was a kid (many, many years ago,) and I can still read music (slowly), but I haven't really played either in years.
