Hello everyone...

Hey all. New forum member here. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am a 30 year old married bass player in NJ, USA. Im just starting to get back into the swing of things after being married and having children and such.

I currently play a Schecter Custom 5-string in Natural. Its a beautiful bass IMO. I also play a newer Fender 250 watt Bassman combo amp with a 15" speaker.

I am hoping that after Christmas I can expand on my collection of equipment. Im glad to be here and really looking forward to meeting all of you. Take care and talk to you soon.
Ian

Welcome bro!

Hi,and WELCOME. I am relatively new too...but this forum is a GREAT PLACE for info.(There are even some bass makers out there.) I have gleaned a lot just by reading threads...not to mention PMs that have answered lots of my questions. Anyway, glad to have ya aboard.

That's about where I was, 10 years ago. (Except a little older than 30.) Now I've been gigging for 10 years, making a little $$ on the side, having the time of my life. This place is a great place to learn. But, as puff said, DO be careful of GAS--Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Its catching.

Sorry for the size of the pic. Its the only decent one I have of the bass.
