I'm James from England. I've just picked my bass up again after a five year layoff due to woman commitments(!). I used to play in a local band and have the urge to get up and spank my plank in public again.
Equipment-wise, I use a Fender Jazz and a shiny new Hohner B2A. I used to have two B2As, one fretted and one fretless but some local lowlife broke in and stole them. I have a Marshall 100W head and 4x10 cab. Effects-wise, I use Boss compact effects (sparingly!).
My influences are Colin Hodgkinson, Sting, Stanley Clarke, Bill Wyman, Paul McCartney, Jack Bruce, John Entwhistle, Steve Harris, Mark King and (don't laugh) John Taylor.
