I never played an instrument in the past.
I own a cort B5 with mk5 bartolini in it and a aguilar obp3 preamp.
And a fame cs mm 500. A copy of a stingray.
I have order a sire marcus miller v7 5 string with alder body.

Hi Ruth, and from one European to another, welcome to Talkbass. You will find lots of people telling you what you need, what is the best this for that, what to do, what not to do, and especially why you need/don't need a Fender Precision. There are as many views as there are members, so much of what you read today will be contradicted tomorrow, but amongst all of the contradiction you will find plenty of gold-dust for someone learning to play, so I hope you stick with it.
