Hi Everyone! Jason from Indianapolis, IN. 32 year old Systems admin, married to my wonderful wife of 6 years, and enjoying raising our soon to be 2 year old son. Got my first bass for Christmas when I was 15... a Washburn XB-100 and a 10 watt Peavy amp. It was a little crude but got the job done!
Becoming a father really put priorities in place, and I ended up selling my Warwick Corvette Proline and Ampeg 8x10 to help out with space/finances.
I managed to save up a decent amount over the past 2 years and finally decided to pull the trigger on a more family friendly setup. I snagged a beautiful used MIJ Fender 70s Precision re-issue, and a Fender Rumble 40 for around $700. These days the extent of my playing is at night with headphones, or playing at family get-togethers with my brother, dad, and uncles. I'm looking forward to getting back to playing and hopefully get my little guy playing it in the next few years too
