Hello From Jeff Berlin

It is a pleasure to have this new opportunity to chat with people on Talkbass about learning how to play better. Being back in this forum is a marvelous thing. It allows me to share thoughts about learning the bass in ways that I have learned and researched over many years. If learning well is an interest you have, please chime in and say hello.

Best regards to all from Jeff

I LOVE your solo on the track Bach. Maybe my favourite by anyone ever.

Many thanks to everyone. To answer a couple of questions:

1. I LOVE my Markbass amps and have loved them since the very first instant that I plugged into one The richness of bass tone combining the amp sound with my Rithimic bass was coincidentally the best combination of tone I ever had.

2. Regarding Joe Frazier Rd. 3, as many do, we try to upgrade our playing from what we once played like beforehand. Here's a quick ten seconds of a demo of the song. What makes this especially great for me is that the bass tone is directly from the back of my amp combined with the d.i. from the bass. It is simply a great tone for me.

Hello Jeff. Welcome back. Thanks for all of the great music and advice you have given to us for all of these years.
I last saw you in Chicago a few years ago with Scott Henderson and Mike Clark. That was a GREAT night.
