How’s it going fellow musicians?!
I’m a long time reader and follower of Talk Bass, but just now joined. I enjoy the windows and experience that is on display within Talk Bass threads as I find them very helpful.

I am a rhythm guitarist/bassist who doesn’t really consider myself a “true” bassist. I like to think of myself as a “rhythm bassist.” I’ve been gigging in the Cincinnati area for over 20 years.

West Chester back in the 80's. Got back south of the red river for the late 90's. Rhythm harmony and chord tones did it for me. The other instruments lend themselves to melody better than our bass does, so I let them handle the melody. Everybody seemed happy and they kept sending me the schedule.
