Hello my fellow bass players! My names Rick. I'm 22 and live in San Diego, California. Been in music all my life, Violin since I was 7 and guitar since I was 19. I switched to Bass from Guitar in April of 2011 after I watched Frank Bello, David Ellefson, and Rob Trujillo live at the April Big 4 Concert in Indio, California. Wathcing Rob play "Orion" was the icing on the cake. The next day I told my cousin who is the bass player for The Temptations that I want to switch to the bass and he gave me his Steinberger so i can play it upside down because I'm lefty. It's the best switch I ever made! I have currently have 3 basses the Steinberger, a Brice 5 string, and a Jazz Bass. And I use a Hartke LH1000 and Hydrive cabs.
