Hello from South East, England

Hi,

Long-term reader and now newbie member of Talkbass from South East, UK.

Thankyou for all the advice and insights that I have gathered over the years - this is really an amazing forum covering so many things really well!

I am the owner of a few basses - currently loving my Carvin LB75 - a great 2nd hand find with fantastic (for my hands) string spacing, killer tone and sustain for days.

I also love the look and feel of Fender basses and have owned a 4 string Special for many years.

I am hoping to sell a couple of bits on the Classifieds Page and re-home some gear to new owners.

Welcome. I spent about 5 months living in Portsmouth and working in Bedhampton. PO9 3QL. Enjoyed it much.

I too own an LB75 but it doesn't get much playing time these days. I've been considering swapping pickups.

Thanks Goatrope, Pompey has a lot going on and there are a couple of very good venues and music shops around Southsea.

Really pleased with my LB75 so far - to my eyes a very good looking and sounding bass.

Thank you - have spent a bit too much on new gear so it's about time to have a clear out
