New member and first post. Semi lurking here for the past few weeks and thought I'd say hi. I was going to wait until I receive the rest of my gear later this month to post, but what the hell!

What? My story?

Ok!

I played guitar since middle school. Late '90's and in my early 20’s my buddies wanted me to join their band as a bassist (zero experience). I accepted and picked my way around a simple sound. Just as I started learning to play bass and write songs on the bass the band split. I then played rhythm guitar in a different band for several years before that one broke up. After that I went to college and quit the band life. I have been infrequently playing here and there over the years, but for some reason I have been playing a lot more often lately. I assume it is due to my new found love for funk/soul. Anyway, I decided my old gear was, well; old really...a Fender p-bass lyte with a SWR sm-500 amp plugged into a Trace Elliot 1x15. So, I decided I wanted a better sound and found this place while researching gear.

This is my current set up:

Warwick $$ NT Bubinga 4st natural > Gator pedal board: Boss TU-3 > MXR M82 envelope filter > Electro Harmonix Small Stone phase shifter > MXR M83 chorus > MXR M288 octave > rack mount: Ashly PQX 571 > Gallien Krueger 1001 RB ii > Eden DXLT 410.

::All Mogami cables, Gator 4u rack, Furman surge protector not in rack mount::

Not really sure if I have anything to offer the site still being so green, but I am really here to learn from you guys. Thanks for reading my long introduction!
