I just jumped on board after checking out the site as a guest a few times. Definitely a place I want to be.
I'm 40 and have been playing bass since my early teens. I live in the Syracuse, NY area with my lovely wife.

Hello Steve,
Since no one welcomed you yet, let me be the first. I just joined the other day after visiting here a few times. I am new to playing the bass only one year, but I am lucky to have a great teacher. After hearing my nephew play, I knew that I wanted to learn how. Now I am in my mid 50's and learning for me is not easy, But I am having one heck of a time.
