Im a novice bass player and new to the TalkBass community. I've been playing guitar for 16 years, but recently I've been playing bass in an instrumental group. I've got a lot to learn about gear, technique, theory, notable bassists, etc. I also just started working for the Product Development team at Elixir Strings, designing new products and refining existing ones. Its a really cool job and I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of it!
