hello newbe here looking at a yamaha bb300

the guy that has it for sale says he cant find a serial # He's asking $120 which I think is reasonable. But it's very ugly brown. looks to be a early 80"s? cuz of the short upper horn? anybody have any ideas on age and value?

Bb300 is a great bass for the money,$120 isnt bad at all.
Cover it with stickers for that travelling punk esthetic.

serial # is on the back of the headstock stamped into the wood. hold it at an angle to the light to see it. yes, that one looks early 80s.

he finally sent the serial # and it's made in 1983.
