Hello everyone!
I am new to the site and to the bass...
I used to play rhythm guitar in a garage band back in my college days. Music took a back seat after getting married, having kids, and chasing my career.
I have always wanted to play the bass, and after much debate I have jumped back into it. I started with a friend's beat up third hand, heavily modified Fender Squire bass. It was in pretty bad shape and I realized that I would need to get a better instrument if I really wanted to pursue my passion.
So after a few months, and much searching, I have equipped myself with a brand new (2008) Schecter C-4. I love it, and I love learning how to play it.
I just wanted to say hello, and to mention what a great community TalkBass is...
